Emergency Landing

Our plane came down in a wide, quiet valley, hundreds of miles from anyone.
Nothing is on fire. No one is shouting. The wind keeps going.

You have time.

A Quiet Survival Experience

Emergency Landing is a short, atmospheric crafting game about learning a place slowly.

You explore a small valley, gather materials, experiment with them, and discover what they become when handled with patience.

There are no enemies.
No meters to manage.
No optimal path.

Progress happens because you notice something.

A reed bends differently.
Wet wood dries out to be strong.
These twisted fibers hold together longer than those.

The wilderness does not rush you.
It rewards attention instead of speed.

What This Game Is

  • A handcrafted, self-contained experience (maybe 60–90 minutes)

  • A calm, deliberate crafting system built around material relationships

  • A space to experiment without punishment

It is not a survival challenge, an optimization loop, or an infinite sandbox.

Just a place, and the question of when “enough” starts to feel like enough.

Emergency Landing is for players who enjoy quiet games, slow discovery, and the feeling of understanding something without being told.

If you’re looking for challenge, pressure, or mastery, this probably isn’t it.

Notes

This is an intentional, self-contained release.

I'd love your feedback, I’m most interested in:

  • where you stopped

  • what you thought the game was about

  • whether anything surprised you by becoming useful
